Interactive:
In DPS 13 there is no figure is has a demanding gaze. They all have an offering gaze which means that we can assume what we ever want in this DPS. The social angle of the figures in this DPS is very far which represents that they are very bad enemies and that they don’t like each other. The camera angle of this DPS is oblique, this technique is used to draw the readers eyes to see the the plain and barren land that the rabbits have made. The modality of the text is low and monochrome showing that it is quite not real and the background lacks of detail.

Representational Analysis:
In ‘The Rabbits’ book page DPS 13 the participants are a rabbit in a window on a wall that is surrounding the world of the Rabbits. On the dry barren land lay the Possum in distress and alone.
The first thing that attracts my gaze on DPS 13 is the wall and the pipes that are gushing out oil and pollution on to the environment making the ground brown, dark and polluted. On the Horizon the the color of the ground gradually gets lighter and then eventually turning into white.
The sky is very dull as well as the land imposing the damage that the rabbits had done to the environment and also the pipes that are letting out pollution backs the claim. The pollution is coloured black saying that it brings death and despair to the land and including the aboriginal people.
The vector line of DSP 13 is the dominating size of the wall and the pipes flowing with pollution. That object is usually the first thing that you usually see when you turn to that page. The bright white colour pokes out at you from the brown dull colour of the sky and the land. The reading path of DPS 13 is that you first see the wall and the pipes and including the rabbit. Then the viewers eyes would wonder around and spot the possum on the other end of the page eventually, spotting the text on the top right hand corner summarising he picture.
The symbols that can be shown here is the lonely possum on the far end of the page representing that the aboriginals have been excluded and lonely and also kicked out of there own land. This is referring to how the white people has excluded the aboriginals from their society and left them outside alone. The wall represents how the white people have fenced of the aboriginals from coming in to their land and not accepting them as equals. The pipes flowing out pollution represents how the white people have destroyed the land and made the land sick and barren.

Are you satisfied with the groups progress so far?
I am satisfied on the progress within my group and our project. Our group is working well with each other better than some groups and are really concentrating on their work. For example Lui and Alex are working together as a team to construct a a preamble draft by the due date. Meanwhile, Alvin and I are writing up a cover letter for the project and is getting along well. Jason is is doing all the background work and small things and is like a helper.
Who is not pulling their weight?
At some times certain people in my group just slack off, but that’s life. Jason as I stated above has little work and most of the time slacks off and does a bit of work a period, at times nothing at all.

What are your frustrations?
Some of my frustrations are that the task is a bit hard to do, some people are away, people can’t do their task by them selves and wait for me to set their task.
How will you deal with these?
I will deal with these frustrations by the co-operation of others and to have an long range task plan for project so that my group and I don’t have to worry about what to do every lesson.
What do you need to achieve this lesson?
I hope to achieve a start to the cover letter and the start of the preamble draft.
